Walking with Baby

Walking with a two year old: Hazel took her baby and Khaki for a walks the other day.  It started off well, Hazel pushing her two babies in the stroller, walking along happily.  50 meters into it, she was distracted by the rocks in the neighbor's yard.  Three steps and then we stopped to smell some lavender.   A few more feet and we lost one of the dolls (a minor freak out), Hazel sprinted back to retrieve her and we made it 50 meters. A few more stops to look at the snowy mountains, neighbors dog, and cars.  Rounding the corner towards our house, Hazel decided that she was DONE and in true "terrible two" fashion, collapsed on the sidewalk, removed her shoes, threw her babies, kicked the stroller into the street, and flailed on the ground for 5 minutes while I watched, mortified in front of our whole neighborhood.  We barely completed the final stretch, Mommy carrying a shoe-less Hazel, Khaki, a poo bag, a mini baby stroller, two babies, and the mail!  Oh dear!

Welcome to the lovely world of Toddlers. We never went far if we took an "item" b/c I was always either carrying it or Grant. Good luck this phase hasn't quite ended for us...:)

Hahaha I love my little H. Bottington! What a stinker, but she is just too cute! She looks like a little angel in this picture, you must be talking about the other adorable 2 year old named Hazel...:)
