Golden Girl

This morning Hazel was sleeping in my bed and woke up before I did.  In the five minutes I lagged behind, she tried to do anything she could to wake me up.  She bopped me on the head a zillion times, kicked me, and pulled my hair.  Then she got creative, she removed her pants and threw them at me.  Then she hopped out of the bed and grabbed my iPhone.  She started yelling "hello!  hello!" as if Daddy was calling.  She definitely got my attention with that one!  You win, little miss.

We went hiking to Pele's chair with our buddies yesterday.  Once H got used to the backpack we all had a great time!  Look at how beautiful our home is!

Piggy Tails

Hazel finally has enough hair for Pig tails!  Not that she'll leave them in for any amount of time, but here she is before school one day (she ripped them out before we even made it in the building).

Speaking of piggies, my little girl creates quite the scene at the dinner table.  Here she is dining on a new fav, breadsticks and marinara sauce.

Chris will not receive any packages sent after this week. So if you were planning to send him something, get it out fast, or it will be returned to sender!

An Impromptu Girls Day!

New Years Day turned into a fabulous day with the girls. Hooray for spontaneity!

First and foremost, a trip to the North Shore.  Hazel's checking out a hermit crab here.

Lunch at Johnnies.

Then a tip on a great sale led us to the shop of one of our favorite local designers, Alli Way Her jewelry is beautiful and unique and the store is tons of fun!  Here we are closing down the boutique with Alli.

Afterward we went to our favorite Indian restaurant for dinner and then to Yogurtland for dessert! Delicious!

We polished off the day with a Christmas fashion show, champagne, and a Rockband tour!

We are really going to miss Aunties Didin and mmmBop when they leave tonight :(

Happy New Year 2009!

For the second year in a row, I got my New Year's kiss from the most beautiful baby in the world. This year we are excited about more than the ball dropping--we are starting count-down for Daddy's return! Check out the new ticker!


Hazel took a nap and woke up just in time to bang pots and pans, which she thoroughly enjoyed!
