On the Fence
Here is Hazel's expression for her first car wash. Let's say she was on the fence about the whole car wash thing. I think the only reason she didn't start wailing was that Daddy was yelling "weeee!" the whole way. I think I sold it--no tears!

Hose time!
While SP was home, we took a little trip to the windward side of the island at stayed at Bellows! It was tons of fun and Hbot had a blast playing in the ocean, testing out the hot tub, and lounging!

Happy Fourth

Here are some pictures from the Fourth of July (Thanks for posting these Auntie Diden!) We ran a 5K in the morning, and took this picture right before. The instruction was "Hazel, Smile!!" This is the face she thought was a smile:

A little later we went to the Kansas concert. It was little too loud for Hbot, so she had to pop in the ear plugs.

Day at the Doctor's
Little Hazel has had a tough go with her ear infections, so on Wednesday we got tubes put in her ears. Not a big deal, but still surgery. Being her mother's daughter, you can expect that Hazel was a trooper. She went into the OR without a fuss. She was a little sad when she came out, but anyone would be. After a few minutes of crying, Hazel snapped out of it. We watched Mickey Mouse's Playhouse, and H's first word after the surgery was "Minnie!!" Everything is A-OK now, and hopefully we've stopped the ear infections!
