Who's baby is this?

Since her arrival, we've been asked which one of us Hazel resembles more closely.  Honestly, we can't even tell.  So we are asking for your help.  I've included the photos below of all three of us at 18 months, please check them out and vote on who you think Hazel looks more like on the poll to the right.

Tough morning

Hazel had a fun morning playing at Toots' house.  When I picked her up to go to the doctor (the 4th time this month), she fell asleep in seconds!

Auntie GG and Uncle PP Visit

Auntie GG and Uncle PP (Chris' classmate from WP) came over to visit on Saturday. We are so glad that they spent valuable R & R time with us!  We had a lovely dinner, smoked the hookah and played catch phrase into the wee hours of the morning.  What a great evening!

Sunny the Steeler!!!!

Congratulations Sunny Harris!

We woke up early to watch the Draft on ESPN and were anxiously scouring the screen for your name.  When we finally saw it as the Steelers pick Chris and I screamed so loud that Hazel burst into tears!

We all know how much hard work and sacrifice it took for you to get this far.  We are so proud of you!!!!
Sunny is a steeler!

We celebrated with a trip to Sunset.

Boston Marathon

I ran a 2:59!!!!  It was an incredible event--like nothing I have ever participated in before.  There were crowds lining the entire route cheering on the runners, passing out oranges, and giving high- fives.  Auntie Lori, Auntie Wendy and their families were out there at mile 18 and really helped me get through the hills.  Chris, Hazel, Bob, Kathy, Johnny and his brother all suffered for several hours in the cold, crowded streets of Boston to cheer me to the finish line.  It was so inspiring to know that I had so many supporters out on the course and back at home tracking me on their phones, TVs, and computers. Honestly, if i had known how many people were tracking my race I would have been much more nervous!

Note the bloody toe in the picture below:

Thanks everyone for all of your support before, during, and after the marathon!

Heading Down to Bean Town

We left the mountains behind and headed down to Boston to pick up my race packet and get ready for the marathon.   On the drive Hazel learned how to play Daddy's harmonica.
Hazel found a big "Khaki" (horse) at Fanuel Hall.

We met Chris' best friend, Johnny J and his wife Stacey for a pre-race pasta dinner in the North End.

The Penguin

Hazel found an unlikely friend in Grampie and Nana's house:

That's right.  A Hazel-size plastic penguin that she insisted on dragging all over the place with her, silly baby.

Traipsing around the Berkshires

Nana and Grampie's new house is way out in the Berkshires.  The towns are charming and the architecture is amazing.

Hazel and Grampie, or Bob, as she calls him, at the Old Forge.

Nana and Hazel walking to lunch.

Visiting Grampie's work.
Lunch at an adorable coffee shop.

Hazel steals Grampie Bob away from work.

The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) is about five minutes from their house.
We had a great time hanging out in the exhibits.

Hazel meets Hazel

We survived our 13 hour long trek to Massachusetts!  Hazel was such a good girl during both plane rides and the car ride up to Nana and Grampie Calway's house.  Our very first stop was to visit Great Grammie Hazel!

Hazel E. (or the Original Hazel) and Hazel A. were instant friends and has a great time playing ball, dancing, playing the piano, and catching up over coffee and chocolate :)

It was a wonderful visit!

Hoppy Easter!

Our little chocoholic was so excited to find a basket full of goodies on the table when she woke up.  Once she nabbed the massive chocolate bunny she would not part with it.  Needless to say she had chocolate for breakfast and lunch that morning!

Hazel got all dolled up for Easter and was able to talk to Strong Papi, Nana and Grampie that morning!

Daddy hid the eggs outside at Toots' house.  Once she realized what was going on, she got so excited!  She was running from egg to egg and dumping out her whole basket in the process!

What am I looking for?
Now I get it!  EGGS!!!!

Here she is dumping her eggs all over the ground as she picks another one up!

I did it!  I found them all!!

I hope everyone had a fabulous Easter!
