Go Speed Racer, Go! A rookie Trick-or-Treater, Hazelbot raced into Halloween this year flying under the radar of many veterans in this circuit.
She was riding in-style with an innovative green, Mom-powered car.
She was sporting a revolutionary design in speed suits. Created by designer, Mom, it's rumored to be the best suit on the market.
In a pre-race interview, Hazel said "Mama, oh wow!"
The new car was unveiled just moments before the race began. In a tribute to her Great Grammie, she christened it, the Hazel Mobile 2.
A wave of the flag--and she's off!
She had an excellent start, but Hazel's first lap was very conservative.
Around Lap 3 she began to lose focus.
She got a little out of control and almost hit the wall. Her critics were about to write her out of the competition altogether.
Luckily, her experienced pit-crew was standing by.
A little help from the pit-crew was all she needed.
She charged back out on the track: this baby was on a mission.
She began turning heads around lap 5.
By that time, she had gained so much ground she was unstoppable.
She charged to a commanding lead.
Eyes on the prize now.
Rounding the final corner, will she pull this off?
She did it! Hazelbot is the winner! In a post-race interview, all she could say was "more, more more!"

Awesome costumes...way to be a good mom and let her have candy--Grant was holding a sucker and could barely say trick or treat considering he already had a mouth full!
Go speed racer Hbot!!! Oh my god Kell! Hbot's costume is AMAZING. By the way, the fender of the car was perfectly painted too :).
Looks like Hazel's mom had more fun than Hazel.
