Kisses for Daddy

Returning home with tears welling in my eyes, I was greeted by an empty shoe rack and an eerily silent house. My emotion was exacerbated by Hazel's confused cries for "dadada!" It was definitely difficult to say goodbye again. I calmed her down by playing the "who's crying in here?" and "bouncing bot" games that Daddy invented. He is an amazing Daddy to our baby girl. He is so proud and so protective. He and Hazel formed an incredible bond while he was home-she even gave him kisses before he left.

After putting Hazel to bed, I pulled up these family pictures that we took at Puena Point, one of our favorite surf spots. From the sand on our toes to the smiles on our faces they exude the immense love that our little family shares. We are so lucky to have each other. Whether near or far, what we share distance doesn't diminish.

man, you are bringing tears to my eyes. I know all to well how difficult it is to say goodbye again and to have a little one missing daddy. Your family is beautiful--inside and out. We love you guys!

Man your husband needs to go to work more or get a second job. You're naked on the beach and have only one little cloth to cover yourselves with. Seriously...take care of your family man. You're naked on the beach.
