On Saturday night, I was driving home after a fabulous evening with the wonderful Pat and Gina, and this song came on the radio. Although Hazel is sound asleep in the back, I turn it up and lean in close. I can't believe what I am hearing. I listen for a few rounds of the chorus, until I am positive of the lyrics. Then I call my mom and tell her to tune in. She does and is blown away too. Despite the time difference, I call Brooke and I am freaking out by this point. "Brooke, I just heard this song," I am practically shouting, "and the lyrics are 'Hazel's got the music!' it goes like this . . ." I proceed to sing it to her until she butts in laughing and completely bursting my bubble by informing me that it's a Rhianna song and the lyrics are "Please Don't Stop the Music." I was crushed!
I still think she's saying "Hazel's Got the Music."

HA HA HA! DIdn't know Rhianna was writing lyrics about your little babe! Don't feel bad, I thought for the longest time that Gwen Stafani was singing," I ain't no Harlem Black Girl" instead of Holla Back Girl. Maybe the artists need to work on their diction? Love ya!
Haha! Harlem Black Girl! Love it!
